Worship Leader/ Worship Pastor Part Time

The Worship Leader/Worship Pastor at Rising Fawn Baptist Church will be responsible for leading and cultivating a worship experience that glorifies God and engages our multi-generational congregation. This individual will work to maintain a diverse worship style that includes contemporary praise and worship songs, classic hymns, and even some Southern Gospel choir/Gaither-style music, ensuring that all members of the church family feel connected through worship.

Primary Responsibilities:

Plan, lead, and oversee the church’s worship services, incorporating a variety of musical styles that reflect the church’s tradition and diversity.  
Develop and lead a team of musicians and vocalists, fostering spiritual and musical growth.
Collaborate with the Senior Pastor and ministry leaders to create worship services that align with biblical teachings and church vision.
Ensure that all musical selections, including hymns, contemporary worship songs, and Southern Gospel pieces, are theologically sound and encourage congregational participation.
Lead rehearsals and provide mentorship and training for volunteers, encouraging excellence in worship.
Oversee and manage worship ministry resources, including musical equipment, sound, and audiovisual components.
Engage with the congregation to cultivate an atmosphere of authentic worship and spiritual growth.
Participate in church activities, outreach programs, and special events that integrate music and worship.
Qualifications:

A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Experience in leading worship in a church setting with a multi-generational congregation.
Proficiency in vocal performance and musical instrumentation (guitar, piano, etc., preferred).
Ability to lead and coordinate volunteers in worship ministry.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Knowledge of various worship styles, including traditional hymns, contemporary praise, and Southern Gospel.
Preferred Qualifications:

A degree or training in worship ministry, music, or a related field.
Experience with worship technology, including sound systems, livestreaming, and media presentations.
