Position Pastor (Full Time or Bi-Vocational)

Job Description

Rock Springs Baptist Church is seeking a pastor; who has been called by God to serve as a spiritual leader and teacher within the church and community. The pastor will preach and teach God’s word on Sunday mornings and Wednesday night services. They will provide leadership and oversight to church staff, deacons, committees, and the congregation.

Qualifications

The Senior Pastor must meet the biblical standards of a pastor as written in 1 Timothy 3:2-7, be on fire to witness and share the gospel of Jesus Christ with those who are lost; and inspire and encourage the congregation to not only listen to God’s word but to apply it daily in their lives. The ideal candidate will be mission-oriented and someone who has a vision to see spiritual growth within our church and community.

Rock Springs Baptist Church is a Baptist Church located in Lula, GA (Banks County). The church was established in 1897 and is a part of the Chattahoochee Baptist Association. We believe the Bible is God’s Holy Word and divine instruction for our lives; that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit make up the Holy Trinity; and that Jesus Christ is and always will be the only way to Heaven. Our mission at Rock Springs is to love people, serve others, and share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
