Pastor Full Time

The Opportunity

The Full-Time Pastor will serve as the primary spiritual leader and shepherd of the church, leading a growing, multi-generational congregation. This role is ideal for a man who:

• Loves expository preaching and teaching God’s Word
  Has a strong passion for evangelism and reaching the lost
  Demonstrates an ability to effectively disciple members to become more mature followers of Christ
  Has a clear, intentional approach to increasing member engagement and participation
  Is proactive in developing strategies to reach guests and connect them into the life of the church
  Values and supports a strong families ministry, including children and youth
  Is energized by leading a church with both strong heritage and future potential
  Leads with humility, conviction, and vision

Church Administration

Qualifications

• A clear testimony of salvation in Jesus Christ
  A clear calling to pastoral ministry
  Agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message (2000)
  Biblical qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1, and 1 Peter 5
  Strong commitment to the authority and inerrancy of Scripture
  Proven ability to preach and teach effectively
  A shepherd’s heart with relational and approachable leadership style
  Demonstrated ability to lead in evangelism, outreach, and church growth strategies
   

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive compensation based on experience
  Minimum 2-week vacation annually
  After 5 years of service, 30-day sabbatical available
  Off campus parsonage brick home 4 bed, 2.5 bath
