Sandy Creek Baptist Association is seeking a full-time Association Mission Strategist to support pastors, strengthen churches, and lead the association to reach the people of west central Illinois. 

The Associational Mission Strategist (AMS) shall lead the churches of the Sandy Creek Baptist Association (SCBA) to reach the People of the SCBA with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The AMS should cast a vision for the cooperative work and plan, communicate, and implement strategies.

Priorities include:
Evangelism and church planting
Church revitalization and replanting
Pastoral Support
Administration of the Association
Administration of the Retreat Center

Associational mission strategist profile:

The AMS shall be

Spiritually mature and growing in his relationship to Christ.
Have an adequate educational background, preferably a master’s degree from seminary.
Experienced, with at least five years of pastoral/ministerial experience with an SBC church or agency.
Supportive of and participant in associational missions.
Specifically called to the work of associational missions.
The leader of leaders.
A strategist.
