Minister of Musical Worship Part Time

Skyline Baptist Church in Texas is looking for a part-time Worship Leader. You’ll lead our congregation in meaningful worship with both contemporary and classic hymns during Sunday morning services.

Schedule
You’ll prepare a weekly order of service with the Pastor.
Join us for a midweek praise team rehearsal.
Do an early Sunday morning sound check.
Lead worship through song during the Sunday morning service.
This totals about 20-30 hours a week, depending on seasonal activities.

Role and Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and evaluate the music program at Skyline Baptist.
Enlist and train musicians and vocalists for the praise team.
Assist the Pastor in planning Sunday morning worship services.
Provide music for weddings, funerals, and other church-related activities as needed.
Review and approve music for special services when necessary.
Maintain music library materials, supplies, instruments, and equipment.
Help prepare and manage an annual music ministry budget with the right leaders.
