Lead Pastor Full Time

Springhill Baptist, a Southern Baptist conservative congregation located in Millport, Alabama, is prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor to lead our church family in spiritual growth, biblical teaching, and faithful service.

We are a congregation committed to the authority of Scripture, the Great Commission, and the values of the Southern Baptist Convention. Our church desires a pastor who will shepherd our members with love and humility, preach and teach the Word of God effectively, and provide vision and leadership.

Qualifications:

A calling to pastoral ministry, with a heart for God and His people
Strong commitment to Southern Baptist beliefs and practices
Previous pastoral experience (whether as a pastor or youth minister) is preferred but not required
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

Lead weekly worship services and deliver biblically sound sermons
Provide pastoral care and counseling to members of the congregation
Lead in outreach, discipleship, and community engagement
Work alongside church leadership and ministry teams to fulfill the mission of the church
