Worship Pastor Full Time

Stevens Street Baptist Church, in beautiful Cookeville,  TN,  is seeking a full-time Worship Pastor to join the rest of the pastoral staff in leading our church as a whole, and facilitating Gospel-focused, Jesus honoring worship services each week.

As a multigenerational body, Stevens Street Baptist Church holds two back-to-back worship services each Sunday with identical orders of worship, set lists, and styles. With few exceptions, the worship ministry leads each week with a full rhythm section, an energetic choir of 60-70 voices, an orchestra consisting of woodwind, brass, and string instruments, and a knowledgeable team of AV volunteers.

Choir, orchestra and band are major parts of the Stevens Street culture and as such, our search team is looking for a candidate who will come alongside us and bolster, encourage and pastor this ministry that numbers over 120 members, including the A/V team.

The Worship Pastor at Stevens Street will also have a heart to serve the entire congregation as a pastor, as well as seek to train up future worship leaders by providing leadership and encouragement in our thriving children’s choirs and School of Performing Arts.
