Lead Pastor Full Time

 Sunbury City Church is praying and fasting for their next Lead Pastor: a man who characterizes the qualifications of 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. The Senior Pastor will be the spiritual leader of Sunbury City Church.
We desire a pastor who is committed to the inerrancy and authority of the Bible, unashamed of the gospel as the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, and is devoted to preaching the whole counsel of God’s Word. 
He will be a skilled expositor of the Bible, a shepherd who loves and cares for his flock, and he will prioritize discipleship.  The Senior Pastor will be a man who himself is being transformed by God’s Word.  
Qualifications:
Affirmation of the Baptist Faith and Message (2000)
Ideally, we are seeking someone with:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in ministry
Job Details:
The Senior Pastor will adhere to all responsibilities outlined within the Church Bylaws. He may be assigned other duties as required by the needs of the Church or determined by the Elder and Deacons.
Those responsibilities include: overseeing the ministry work of the church which consists of the deacon ministry, committees, worship services, baptism, and communion.  He will regularly preach at the Sunday gathering, do the work of an evangelist, and be regularly discipling others.
Salary Range:
Starting at $48,000 plus a benefits package.
