Children’s Director/ Minister Part Time

Sunny Gap Baptist Church is seeking a Children’s Minister/ Director.

We’re a Southern Baptist Church just outside of Conway close to Vilonia about a mile off Hwy 64.

Growing church in a growing community seeks a bi-vocational children’s minister to lead, guide by leading, and encourage the children of our congregation. Responsible for coordinating children’s Sunday School teachers and leading Children’s Church during the worship service for school age children (5 years old – 5th grades) and serve on the VBS Committee. Two years of experience preferred, with or without formal education. Students still in college will be considered.

Assisting with Wednesday night Bible Skills classes during the school year and being available to attend Children’s Camp at Cold Springs Retreat are a plus. Our church is committed to our children, supporting them both physically and prayerfully. Annual camp, VBS, and fun events like Harvest Fest and an Egg Hunt are a big part of this ministry.

Compensation would be $100-$150 a week depending on experience, education, and Wednesday evening availability.
