Tega Cay Baptist Church is a small (but really growing) church in the Tega Cay, Fort Mill, and South Charlotte area. Our Vision is simple, we exist to EXALT His name in worship, EQUIP His church for spiritual growth, and ENGAGE His world through local and global missions. We are looking for an energetic Worship and Student Minister to join our team and help us expand the story of Jesus in this incredible community. The right candidate must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a willingness to creatively find ways to grow the church and reach people in our area.

Minister of Students Responsibilities Include:
• Provide direction to student discipleship.
• Support planning and execution of events (e.g., Youth Camps, Outreach Events, Mission Trips).
• Lead student small group Bible study.
• Lead social media content creation and communication.
• Lead Youth activities communication (e.g., sporting events, theater, etc.).
• Engage in leadership coaching and development with Pastor.
• Support development of youth outreach strategy.
• Assist in Youth volunteer trainings and meetings.
• Support volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and training.
• Pastor, provide care, and development for individual youth volunteers.

Minister of Worship Responsibilities Include:
• Lead Sunday worship service
• Schedule and administrate the worship team including, team members, songs, and the service
layout (via Planning Center)
• Keep an updated library of worship songs that will be used on Sunday mornings.
• Introduce new songs to the congregation Worship Team.
• Coordinate practices with the Worship Team.
• Ensure that the lyric PowerPoint slides are available for Sunday worship.
• Schedule and attend planning meetings with the worship team.
• Plan and help oversee the Christmas Eve and Good Friday special outreach services.
• Faith in Jesus Christ and agrees with Tega Cay’s Essential Biblical Doctrines

• Capable of choosing songs based on theology, philosophy, and coordination with the sermon series.
• Able to coach others on the team.
• Able to navigate through sheet music with the team.
• Ability to play/lead with an instrument.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willing to participate in development opportunities for personal growth.
