Overview

The Operations Director reports to the elders and aids The Mount in following Jesus together by increasing excellence in office management, facilities and grounds, information and technology, finance, legal and compliance, human resources, and the weekday preschool (“The Summit”).

Qualifications

o   Follower of Jesus Christ with morals and character consistent with biblical teaching

o   Agreement with The Mount’s membership content along with a readiness to become a member of The Mount

o   Administratively gifted and detail-oriented

o   Designer and implementer of systems and processes

o   Excellent communicator (oral and written)

o   Strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

o   Office Management – Supervise operations staff and team by planning and executing regular (and as-needed) meetings for the purpose of communication, preparation, training, and personnel development.

o   Facilities & Grounds – Maintain and manage the physical campus by overseeing contracts, scheduling building usage, arranging custodial care, addressing safety concerns, seeing to general upkeep, and handling emergencies.

o   Information & Technology – Procure and maintain devices, platforms, and processes necessary for efficient staff and leadership responsibilities.

o   Finance – Oversee budgeting, accounting, reporting, and the general financial health of The Mount.

o   Legal & Compliance – Ensure The Mount is in compliance with by-laws and other governing structures.

o   Human Resources – Oversee new hire processes, employee benefits/handbook, performance reviews, and other personnel policies and procedures.

o   Summit – Oversee the on-campus weekday preschool program (“The Summit”) by supervising and resourcing The Summit Director.

o   Other duties as assigned

Experience

o   Team leadership

o   Financial practices

o   Process management

o   Microsoft Office 365 and QuickBooks

Hours and Compensation

o   Hours – This is a full-time, exempt position requiring 40+ hours per week where a typical work week is Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. as well as Sunday mornings. Occasional evenings or weekends may be required as needed.

o   Compensation – Compensation includes a median salary of $65,000 depending on experience, a 3% match for retirement, a group health insurance plan (for the employee), basic vision and dental, and 2 weeks of PTO.
