The Oaks Church in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a full-time Executive Pastor to help lead us through an exciting season of growth, multiplication, and mission. The Oaks is a thriving nine-year-old church averaging 450 attendees across two Sunday services, with a vision to plant and revitalize churches throughout the Midwest. As we prepare to launch our first church plant and expand our ministry impact, we are looking for a pastor who can help turn vision into reality through strong leadership, strategic execution, and organizational health.

The Executive Pastor will serve as a key partner to the Lead Pastor and Board of Elders, providing leadership for staff development, strategic planning, church operations, and ministry effectiveness. This role is responsible for translating vision into actionable plans, building systems that support healthy growth, coaching ministry leaders, monitoring organizational health, and helping prepare the church for future expansion. The ideal candidate is both a strategist and a shepherd—someone who can lead people, solve problems, and develop leaders while keeping pastoral ministry at the center of their work.

We are seeking a theologically grounded pastor who meets the biblical qualifications for eldership, has graduate-level theological training, and possesses significant leadership experience in a growing church context. The right candidate will be a leader of leaders who can build teams, coach staff, create healthy systems, and navigate organizational complexity without losing sight of the people behind the processes. Strong strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, and pastoral care are essential for success in this role.

This full-time position reports directly to the Lead Pastor and offers a competitive pastoral compensation package, including salary, retirement contributions, health insurance, life and disability insurance, and housing allowance where applicable. If you are passionate about the local church, developing leaders, advancing church planting, and helping a growing congregation move from vision to execution, we would love to hear from you. Applicants should submit a resume, cover letter, testimony, statement of theological convictions, ministry philosophy, leadership philosophy, and references.
