Come join our amazing team working in the Western NC mountains. Our dynamic and growing church is looking to fill this role. We are 5 year old church that has seen the Lord do an incredible work. We launched with just over 130 people and now have on average between 900-1000 people attending. Purpose of the Position
The Send Coordinator serves as a vital liaison for missions ministry operations, providing administrative support and coordination services to ensure seamless missions activities and effective outreach delivery. This position specifically supports the Missions Pastor, Mission Trips, Internship and Residency programs, Local Missions, Revitalization and Replant initiatives, and other missions functions. This role combines ministry coordination responsibilities with administrative excellence to support the church’s mission of reaching communities locally and globally. This position offers an excellent opportunity to serve in a meaningful ministry role while utilizing administrative and coordination skills to support multiple aspects of missions and outreach ministries.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative Coordination
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Missions Pastor
Coordinate schedules, meetings, and communications across all missions ministry groups
Maintain accurate records and databases for all supported missions activities
Prepare reports, correspondence, and missions-related documentation
Manage missions calendars and coordinate cross-ministry activities
Ministry Support Services
Mission Trips: Coordinate trip planning, participant registration, travel arrangements, and post-trip follow-up communications
Internship and Residency: Support application processes, maintain participant records, coordinate training sessions, and facilitate program communications
Interview and screen potential candidates, contribute to the development of interns
Local Missions: community outreach coordination, volunteer scheduling, and partnership management with local organizations
Revitalization and Replant: Provide administrative support for church planting initiatives, maintain project documentation, and coordinate resource allocation
Missions Coordination Functions
Track and coordinate missions activities across all supported ministries
Facilitate communication between missions leaders and pastoral staff
Identify outreach opportunities and coordination needs
Support missions event planning and execution
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive partnership information with discretion
Communication and Collaboration
Serve as primary point of contact between supported missions ministries
Coordinate inter-ministry missions projects and initiatives
Facilitate effective communication flow between groups and external partners
Participate in missions team meetings and planning sessions
Prepare missions updates and progress reports
Other Duties & Responsibilities
Recruit and equip church members and guests to volunteer for missions work
Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer and meditation
Maintain proper priorities in your home
Be actively involved in the making of disciples
Maintain wise stewardship of all God’s resources that He has given you
Other duties as assigned by the Missions Pastor
Qualifications
High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a church or nonprofit setting
Experience with missions coordination or ministry support preferred
Knowledge/Understanding
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and church management software
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of staff, community, and ministry partners
Listening skills with the ability to interpret and respond to personal and ministry-related situations
Ability to manage multiple priorities and events
Ability to use MS Office, internet, email, and social media resources
Experience with digital platforms and communication tools relevant to missions ministry

Working Conditions
Part-time position with flexible hours to accommodate ministry event needs
Office-based work environment with some community and off-site meeting attendance
Regular interaction with congregation members, ministry leaders, missions partners, and pastoral staff
May require occasional evenings/weekends for missions events and trip preparations
May require lifting up to 25 pounds for event setup and missions materials
Reporting Structure
Reports directly to Missions Pastor
Works closely with ministry leaders and missions team members
Coordinates with pastoral staff and volunteer missions leaders
Interfaces with external missions partners and organizations
