Overview
Are you passionate about guiding and inspiring the next generation in their faith journey? As a Youth Pastor / English Ministry Pastor / Sunday Speaker, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the spiritual growth of multi-generational youth and young adults within our community. We are a Vietnamese and English speaking church located in South Sacramento. You will create an engaging environment that fosters connection, learning, and service. Your leadership will empower individuals to explore their faith, develop meaningful relationships, and actively participate in church life. Flexible role, part-time, ad-hoc, etc.

What you’ll do

– Lead dynamic youth services that inspire and engage participants through relevant teaching and activities.
– Organize and execute events that promote fellowship, outreach, and spiritual growth within the youth community.
– Deliver impactful sermons and presentations that resonate with young audiences, utilizing strong public speaking and presentation skills.
– Mentor youth through one-on-one counseling sessions, fostering personal development and spiritual maturity.
– Collaborate with church leadership to develop programs that address the needs of the congregation, including Christian counseling initiatives.
– Communicate effectively with parents, volunteers, and church staff to build strong partnerships in ministry efforts.

Basic qualifications

Strong leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring youth.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey messages clearly and effectively.
Experience in teaching or public speaking within a church or educational setting.
