Pastor Full Time

Warm Springs Baptist Church was founded in the mid 60’s on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation in Central Oregon as a mission plant by the Southern Baptist Convention.  Our church is a small and faithful church with a membership around 25 and average weekly attendance of around 40.  We are a fundamental church that believes the Bible is our final authority.  We are seeking a pastor to lead our church through the preaching and teaching of the Bible, discipleship, and leading in evangelism.  Our weekly functions include Sunday School, Sunday morning worship, Sunday evening service following a meal, and Wednesday evening prayer and Bible study.  Through the year we have a variety of activities including special potlucks and meals, vacation Bible school, and hosting teams that come to do work projects.

We have been able to pay our pastor $2000/month and provide a large parsonage including power and propane.  With a grant from our local association, we will be able to add $1000/month to the salary for one year.  We are open to having a bi-vocational pastor, understanding that the salary we can provide at this time is small.
