Youth Minister Part Time

The part-time Minister of Students is responsible to the Senior Pastor for the student ministry of Wilcrest Baptist Church (WBC), aiming to equip the Body of Christ to evangelize and make disciples of the younger generation: students sixth through twelfth grade. The Minister of Students will work with WBC staff, and volunteer youth workers to come alongside parents as they raise their youth in the ways of the Lord. The Minister of Students is to fulfill this ministry while maintaining a healthy relationship with Jesus Christ and a spiritually disciplined and godly lifestyle that is above reproach.

Each Sunday Wilcrest Baptist Church has about 250 people in attendance from 40+ nations. Our church is over 50 years old and is continuing to minister to the surrounding neighborhoods as the community transitions. We are located in the Alief part of Houston, Texas which is now one of the most multi-cultural cities in the United States. We are committed to the scriptures as our guide for life and committed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the truth that carries us through every moment of every day.
