Contemporary Service—Interim Worship Leader

Job Description

Qualifications: The Interim Contemporary Worship Leader must be capable of leading with a strong vocal presence. The ability to lead while playing a guitar is preferred, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:
1. He/She will work with the worship coordinator to plan and rehearse for the contemporary worship service each week. The service should consist of 3-4 worship songs, a special music selection, and an invitation song.
2. Attendance at band/choir rehearsals which are held Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:00 and Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30. Sunday service is from 10:45-12:00. Planning time is flexible, but must be completed by Tuesday night each week.
3. Time commitment is 4 hours per week, plus any additional independent preparation.

Compensation: $300 per week
